3/31/06 14:50 Lindenhurst responded forthwith to the scene of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Montauk Highway & Riviera Pwky. SCPD Aviation was requested to the scene for a medivac. M/A was requested from West Babylon for ALS to the scene and also an engine to stand by at the landing zone to the rear of National Whole Liquidators. SCPD Aviation airlifted the victim to Stony Brook.
3/30/06 11:30 Deer Park responded to a fire in a vacant dwelling @ 221 Gleeland Street. M/A was requested from Dix Hills, North Babylon, & Brentwood to the scene. Wyandanch Fire & Wyandanch - Wheatly Heights Ambulance stood by.
3/29/06 23:10 East Farmingdale was alerted to a general alarm @ 69 Allen Blvd for a van fire against the building. East Farmingdale units arrived to find a fully involved van against the building with minor extension to the roof area.
3/28/06 16:45 East Farmingdale responded to a Industrial Accident @ 60 Allen Blvd for a male trapped with in a machine. SCPD Aviation was requested to airlift the victim. East Farmingdale removed the subject from the machine quickly and transported him to the landing site on Rt. 110 near Allen Blvd. SCPD Aviation airlifted the patient to Stony Brook.
3/27/06 12:40 Lindenhurst was alerted to a working house fire at 124 Phyllis Drive. Firefighters quickly extinguished a one room fire on the second floor of a 2 sty private dwelling. M/A was requested from West Babylon fo
3/23/06 20:30 East Farmingdale responded to a two vehicle accident @ Little East Neck Rd & Straight Path. Firefighters used multiple hurst tools to extricate 2 trapped subjects. Two critical victims were transported to Good Sam.
3/22/06 01:45 Wyandanch responded to a working fire in a private dwelling @ 34 Grand Blvd near Doe Street. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. No mutual aid was requested.
3/21/06 13:35 North Amityville was alerted to a working house fire at 149 43RD Street off Prospect Ave. Firefighters encountered a heavy fire condition on the first & second floors of a private dwelling. M/A was requested from Copiague, North Lindenhurst, & Amityville to the scene.
3/21/06 12:58 Copiague responded to a car into a building @ Coolidge Ave & Montauk Highway. Copiague transported 1 victim to Good Sam with non-life threatening injuries. The Town of Babylon Fire Marshal's Office was requested to the scene.
3/17/06 Copiague was alerted for a working house fire @ 35 33RD Street. Engine 1-3-5 was first due, and stretched two inch & 3/4's to quickly confine a fire in the walls & attic of a 1 1/2 sty private dwelling. M/A from North Lindenhurst for RIT was requested. Photos Below
3/16/06 12:24 Lindenhurst responded to a auto accident with entrapment at the corner of Walnut Street & Montauk Highway. M/A was requested from Copiague, North Lindenhurst, & West Babylon for ambulances to the scene. A total of 5 victims were transported to Good Sam.
3/15/06 09:57 East Farmingdale was alerted to a Haz Mat @ 1966 Broadhollow Rd. The Town of Babylon Fire Marshal's Office was requested to respond along with Suffolk County Police Emergency Services Unit for a package of radiation that was possibly leaking.
3/16/06 09:10 East Farmingdale responded to a School Bus that rear ended a truck in front of Wendy's on Rt. 109. M/A was requested from North Amityville & Farmingdale for one ambulance to the scene. A total of 7 victims were transported.
3/11/06 16:30 East Farmingdale was alerted for a auto accident, with car fire & entrapment @ Edison Ave & Lamar Street. East Farmingdale Chiefs arrived to find a two car accident, with one auto on fire & the other with trapped subjects. Firefighters extricated a trapped subject in approximately 15 minutes, the victim was transported to Good Sam.

3/5/06 04:32 Amityville was alerted to an early morning working fire in a Laundromat on Broadway near Oak Street. Firefighters stretched a 2 1/2 inch line to contain a fire in the rear of the structure. Mutual aid was requested from Massapequa for a ladder to the scene & Copiague for RIT. 3/5/06 01:00 North Babylon again responded to a working dwelling fire at 3 Jean Drive. Firefighters worked to contain a fire with in the walls. Mutual aid was requested from West Islip for RIT.
3/4/06 16:00 Lindenhurst responded to a working fire @ Dukes Bar, at the corner of South 1ST Street & W Hoffman Ave. Firefighters encountered a heavy fire condition through out a 3 story building. Firefighters were with drawn from the building and utilized an exterior attack to knock down the main body of fire. Mutual aid was requested from North Lindenhurst, Copiague, West Babylon, Babylon, East Farmingdale, & North Babylon to the scene. Wyandanch & North Amityville were requested for units to stand by. 2 firefighters were transported with minor injuries. Photos below
3/4/06 10:10 North Babylon quickly extinguished a dryer fire that extended to the walls. Engine 1-8-4 stretched a inch & 3/4 line to knock the fire down.
3/2/06 19:30 During a blizzard, Babylon responded to a working fire in Gilgo Beach @ 2 Cottage Walk. Fire involved a vacant dwelling which was fully involved and caused damage to two other dwellings. Mutual aid was requested from West Babylon for an engine to stand by at BFD HQ.
3/1/06 17:30 East Farmingdale responded to a Haz Mat incident @ 595 Rt. 110. EMS treated several victims who were overcome by Carbon Monoxide. Mutual Aid was requested from West Babylon & North Lindenhurst for ambulances to the scene.
2//24/06 13:41 East Farmingdale was alerted to respond to a auto accident with overturn & entrapment @ Edison Ave & Cabot Street. East Farmingdale quickly extricated two trapped subjects. They were both transported in stable condition.
