8/7/06 15:45 West Babylon was alerted to a working house fire @ 21 Hamlin Ave off Straight Path. Firefighters fought to contain a garage fire which extended into a private dwelling. Numerous lines were stretched to extinguish the fire. M/A was requested from, North Babylon, East Farmingdale, Wyandanch, North Lindenhurst, & Copiague to the scene.
